We carried out a delivery into the London DVS zone, where the customer’s trucks aren’t compliant, so we took the trailer into the zone and assisted in the discharge of the trailer, saving them from a potential fine. They brought the tanker to us and their driver went with our driver, Kevin, who made sure everything ran smoothly.

As part of our ongoing commitment to growth and operational excellence, Chiltern Transport & Warehousing Limited has made further significant investments in its fleet with the addition of new 13.5m curtain-sider trailers, 13.5m box van trailers, and 15.65m LST double-deck trailers.
This latest expansion strengthens our transport capabilities and supports the continued delivery of reliable, efficient service to our customers nationwide. The investment reflects our forward-thinking approach and dedication to maintaining a modern, high-performing fleet that upholds the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism across all our operations.
As Chiltern Transport & Warehousing Limited moves through its 37th year of trading, we are delighted to confirm the addition of a new 56,000 sq. ft. high-bay warehouse. This impressive facility will allow us to hold a further 9,000 pallets within our narrow aisle racking system, significantly increasing our storage capacity.
Coupled with our new, state-of-the-art Clarus WMS Warehouse Management System, this investment further enhances our operational efficiency and service offering, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards our customers expect.

Chiltern Transport is excited to announce the addition of 19-tonne Curtainsided Rigids to our Network fleet. This reaffirms our dedication to our investment strategy for 2024, prioritising the modernisation, efficiency, and safety of our fleet for our drivers. Our newest truck meets the requirements of the newly imposed Direct Vision Standard, boasting a 3-star Vehicle Star Rating. This compliance ensures that our fleet is equipped with the latest safety features, aligning with the Progressive Safe System to enhance and support our drivers’ indirect vision.

Chiltern Transport is proud to continue our ongoing partnership with Rennie Grove Hospice, playing an important role in supporting their operations. Our collaboration primarily involves transferring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from their Rennie House office in Tring to our warehouse, where we ensure its efficient storage and management.

The annual Palletforce Awards Ceremony was held at London’s Westminster Park Plaza on Saturday night which was not only a fantastic night of entertainment, including Stephen Mulhern as the compere, and an opportunity to meet various members face to face but to win an award and be nominated for another, all of which was a huge surprise!
Chiltern Transport was lucky enough to win the Best New Member Depot Award of 2023. There
were 12 new depots within this last year and some stiff competition between us all
but we succeeded as the winners of the night. This recognises Chiltern Transport
as an outstanding depot with an excellent service record where the Directors of
Palletforce made a speech explaining how we have been 100% service committed from day one!
We were also nominated for the Member’s Depot of the Year Award 2023 which is a vote cast by the whole membership of Palletforce of some 120 members where we were within the highest votes making the prestigious list of a final 6 members.
We’re really proud to support KidsOut and the incredible work they do. Providing warehousing at our Leighton Buzzard site was a small part of a much bigger effort to help children and families when they need it most.
