  • COVID-19 Statement

The safety of our employees, visitors and contractors is Chiltern Transport’s overriding priority. We acknowledge that employers have a vital role to play by taking extreme and careful action to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Workers are advised to maintain good hygiene standards around the workplace and on site by following the advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England, which is the guidance we have given to all our employees.

That being said, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to reduce the potential risk of exposure to our workforce and visitors, our procedures require all visitors to the site, including contractors carrying out jobs on site, to complete a screening questionnaire at the beginning of their visit.

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation very carefully, as the safety of all members of staff, visitors and contractors, on our site is our absolute priority.

  • Thirty Years of Chiltern Transport

    September 2019.

2019 was a monumental year for us here at Chiltern Transport, it was the year we celebrated 30 years of trading. Established in 1989 by Keith Croker, as a one man operation, now employing over 40 members of staff and operating up to 20 vehicles, ranging from 18 to 44 tonnes.

That being said, staff at Chiltern Transport celebrated with a surprise party for Keith. All members of staff contributed to this event, with many arriving as early as 8 am to set up. Director, Iain Hamilton, presented Keith with a replica model of a Chiltern Transport trailer to show their continued support for him and the company. Keith stated the past 30 years could only have been achieved with the support he was given from all staff members, with them embracing the company ethic of understanding our customer needs, continued development of our services and embracing the ISO management systems as well as our environmental and health and safety beliefs.

  • Our Expansion into a Frosty World

    August 2019.

On the 12th August 2019, Chiltern Transport & Warehousing Limited expanded into refrigerated transport. The company has invested heavily into new single refrigerated trailers, to accommodate a wide range of temperature requirements from -25°C to +25°C. By the end of 2020, we plan to continue with investments into this department with the purchase of duel compartment trailers. We are now delivering perishable goods and pharmaceuticals throughout the United Kingdom, hopefully one day expanding across to the continent.
